Hi friends from all over! We’re helping our friend Emran fundraise for his and his family’s evacuation out of Gaza. They, like all of us, deserve safety, food, comfort, and the chance for their children to thrive.

I am Emran Al Zaanin from Gaza , I am a father for three children , feel free to read my story below.

We are living through one of the most challenging and terrifying times in our lives. The current war has torn apart our community, leaving us in a constant state of fear and uncertainty. As the war rages on, we find ourselves facing severe shortages of food, inadequate access to education, and an alarming lack of security. Our only hope is to evacuate and seek a safer future. We humbly reach out to you, appealing for your help and support in saving our lives.

Our family consists of my wife-Amal, myself- Emran, and our three children-Mohammed (aged 7), Haya (aged 5), and baby boy, Zain, who is just a year old. Before the war, life in Gaza was already challenging, but we managed to find joy in the little things. Our children went to school, we had access to basic healthcare, and we could put food on the table. However, the current war has shattered our sense of normalcy, plunging us into a nightmarish existence.

The blockade and continuous bombing have severely disrupted the supply chains, making food scarce and unaffordable. Every day, we struggle to find enough food to keep our children nourished. The once bustling markets are now empty or destroyed, and the humanitarian aid that does trickle in is insufficient to meet the needs of the thousands of families like ours. We ration what little we have, often going to bed hungry so our children can eat.

Our children’s education has come to a standstill. Schools have been destroyed, and the constant threat of airstrikes makes it too dangerous for children to gather in one place. Mohammed and Haya, who were once full of dreams and aspirations, now spend their days in fear, deprived of the chance to learn and grow. The trauma of living through war has left deep scars, making it difficult for them to focus on anything other than survival.

Every night, we lie awake, listening to the sounds of bombs falling around us, praying that our home will be spared. The fear is relentless and pervasive. We have had to flee our home multiple times, seeking refuge in overcrowded shelters that offer little protection. The psychological toll on our family is immense. Our children are haunted by nightmares, and we live in constant fear of losing each other.

We cannot continue to live in this state of perpetual terror. Our children’s futures are slipping away, and every day is a fight for survival. We need your help to evacuate from this war-torn land to a place where we can rebuild our lives and provide a safe and secure future for our children.

We need funds to cover travel expenses, temporary accommodation, and the basic necessities to start anew. Your generous support can make a world of difference. By contributing to our cause, you are not only helping us escape the immediate danger but also giving our children a chance to dream again, to go to school, and to live without fear.
